Welcome to the Grupa 303 Paragliding Club in the UK. The Club was founded in 2007 after few flying buddies, who recently came to the UK, decided to organise themselves and make flying together easier. Then came this website to allow the communication and easy exchange of information with regards to paragliding in the UK.
The Club's name was chosen to commemorate the heroes of the RAF Squadron 303, one of the 16 Polish squadrons during WWII. It was the most succesful, higest scoring RAF squadron during the Battle of Britain.
Grupa 303 is proudly part of the BHPA (British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association) since 2010. We currently have many members from all over the UK, who take part in all aspects of our sport such as Cross Country flying, competitions etc. Our goal is the same as when we started - to fly together and have fun. See you in the sky!
We proudly announce that Grupa 303 is the winner of 2016 Advance British Club Challenge. After many months of tough and very close competition where results could change until the last round our pilots got the deserved trophy. It is for the first time in our Club history that we have achieved such success. We are very proud of the whole team.
During Gin Wide Open competition in St. Jean Montclar on 18th - 25th June Marek Kozłowski from Grupy 303 finished 2nd in Sports Class and 3rd in overall classification. Congratulations Marek, well done :)
Our pilot Marek Mogielnicki stands on the podium during Polish Open 2016. He took 2nd place in Sports Class during the competition that took place 22-28 May 2016 in Tolmin (Slovenia). Marek worked hard to get this result with hours he spent in the air, late retrieves from XC and days off from work when the conditions were good for training. Congratulations Poland's ViceChampion!
